In August 2023 I flew economy to Osaka and business on the return. On this short route, the check-in, lounge and seat benefits made the return more comfortable.

Fare difference at booking

The itinerary I selected cost roughly KRW 50,000 more than the round-trip economy combination I had compared, after changing dates, times and departure airports. This was a fare comparison, not an upgrade price available to everyone.

Outbound economy

The Incheon–Osaka flight was comfortable enough for a short trip. At 163 cm tall, I found the legroom acceptable and had the onboard meal.

Return business class

We used a separate check-in counter and rested in the Kansai Airport lounge, where I liked the curry. The lounge was useful during a delay. Our seat was not fully flat, but the leg support and extra space were comfortable. I chose the beef-steak meal. Check the aircraft and services on your particular flight.
