I stayed at Novotel Ambassador Seoul Dongdaemun Hotels & Residences with two friends in March 2023. Our Residence Deluxe room had three single beds, which made it a practical choice for a three-person staycation.

Three separate beds and plenty of space

Finding a room for three friends in Seoul was not easy. This room came with three single beds, so nobody needed an extra bed. The room and bathroom felt spacious and clean, and there was a sofa and table. The room view was not particularly memorable.

There were basic cooking facilities and a washing machine. We found the machine especially useful for spin-drying our swimsuits after swimming.

A staycation for swimming and relaxing

I liked the view and atmosphere of the indoor pool. For the price we paid at the time, swimming and spending time together in a roomy hotel room felt like good value.

Breakfast at Food Exchange was fine, but it did not stand out enough for me to choose the hotel for breakfast alone.

What I would consider before returning

I did not find many things nearby that I personally wanted to do. For me, this worked better as a hotel-focused break than as a trip built around sightseeing or dining outside.

I would pay to stay again for a reasonably priced staycation with friends, especially when we want a pool and separate beds for all three of us.

This review is based on my March 2023 stay. Confirm current room configurations, occupancy limits, breakfast and pool inclusions, and pool operating hours for your specific booking.
