Five of us had lunch at The Island Grill, then visited Starbucks Reserve Dewata. Chicken satay and the cafe’s setting were the highlights.

The Island Grill & Lounge
Jl. Kunti I No.9. The soft-shell crab was crisp and the chicken mie goreng suited our tastes. We also shared octopus salad and pork ribs. My partner and I especially liked the chicken satay with peanut sauce.
Starbucks Reserve Dewata
Jl. Sunset Road No.77. The entrance and outdoor areas were attractive, with coffee-related displays to explore. The shaded seating was a pleasant place to rest and take family photos.
Drinks and transport
We tried the Dewata latte, fruit drinks and matcha lemonade. The drinks were unremarkable compared with the setting. We took Grab between the two places because of the heat.
